Introducing Digital Badges

ACBT has partnered with Credly to provide you with digital badges to showcase your qualifications and achievements. This will help to further strengthen employment outcomes upon course completion. Whether you are entering the job market for the first time, up-skilling in your existing profession, or making a career change, Digital Badges will help you to set yourself apart by representing valuable skills unique to your experiences in a way that is verifiable and shareable.

What are digital badges?

Digital badges are changing the way the world recognises and validates learning. The traditional CV will soon become obsolete replaced with a digital portfolio (such as LinkedIn) of digital badges. In comparison to a hardcopy certificate, a digital badge is evidentiary, personalised, and machine-readable – all of which are necessary for the future workplace and digital world.

Learn and earn it

On successful completion of a Unit of Competency, Professional Certificate and/or a Qualification, you will receive a Digital Badge.

Claim it

Once you have earned a badge, you will receive a confirmation email from ACBT followed by a notification from Credly’s digital badge platform with full instructions on how to set up your account and then claim and share your digital badge.

Share it

Let potential employers know about your new credential by sharing it. You can share your badge directly to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, over email, and embed it in your digital resume, or your email signature.
