To assist students in building their confidence to enter the workforce as qualified Beauty Therapists, the Australian College of Beauty Therapy has a fully functional Student Clinic where our students are able to perform treatments on clients under the supervision of qualified and experienced Beauty Therapists. Our students are required to attend the Student Salon to complete their practical days on full fee paying clients.
The skills students obtain from the Student Clinic encompass:
- Performing beauty treatments
- Recommending and selling skin care products
- Reception duties (booking clients, performing transactions etc.)
- Stock control, ordering and display
- Management and organisation of daily tasks
The ACBT Student Clinic supports The Hunger Project Australia by donating 15% of the fees for treatments performed in the student clinic to the Sanar Epicentre in Senegal.
