Student Clinic
To assist students in building their confidence to enter the workforce as qualified Beauty Therapists, the Australian College of Beauty Therapy has a fully functional Student Clinic where our students are able to perform treatments on clients under the supervision of qualified and experienced Beauty Therapists. Our students are required to attend the Student Clinic to complete their practical days on full fee-paying clients.
ACBT is proud to showcase our beautiful Student Clinic. Most beauty colleges simply use one of their training rooms as a “student salon”, but at ACBT, we’ve custom-designed our Student Clinic so students gain real-life experience in a true clinic environment.
The skills students obtain from the Student Clinic encompass:
- Performing beauty treatments
- Recommending and selling skin care products
- Reception duties (booking clients, performing transactions etc.)
- Stock control, ordering and display
- Marketing
- Management and organisation of daily tasks
